[[Next->->Prologue 4]]However, most choose to become pirates for more malicious intents. They are criminals that participate in varying acts, from stealing all the way to frivolous destruction.
[[Next->->Prologue 5]]The last time this great pirate set off, the boy asked if he could join them. The pirate turned him down, as the boy was far too inexperienced.
[[Next->->Prologue 6]]He told him, "Not this time. But, when you do become a greater pirate than me, I want you to return this to me," and gave him his signature pirate hat.
[[Next->->Prologue 7]]The boy and the rest of the village then said their farewells to the pirate and his crew, all the while clutching his new pirate hat.
[[Next->->Prologue 8]]Now, several years later, the boy is celebrating his 17<sup>th</sup> birthday, and he is finally ready to set sail on his own adventure.
